MuseRuby was founded by Nurdan Aycan Dumenci in 2026. It was born from her dream of uniting her passions for design, fashion, and sustainability.

Long before MuseRuby became a brand, Nurdan pursued design as a personal passion. Years ago, while pursuing an academic career in environmental engineering in Turkiye, she started sharing her handmade creations and original designs on her blog. Her designs were highly admired by those around her, who encouraged her to take her creativity to the next level.

For years, two distinct worlds evolved side by side: an academic and professional journey centered on sustainability and a creative journey driven by fashion, sewing, and design.

This connection deepened after she moved to New York. While studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), she delved deeper into the intersection of fashion and sustainability. These experiences inspired MuseRuby, which merged her long-standing creative endeavors with her professional background in sustainability.

MuseRuby represents a step toward creating thoughtfully designed pieces meant to be worn, loved, and cherished for years.

The brand is founded on the belief in timelessness rather than fleeting trends. It offers versatile designs that adapt effortlessly to the various moments of daily life—pieces that make women feel at ease and uniquely themselves.
